How the scam works
Fake staking fronts like this one promise yield on deposited tokens and ask visitors to connect a wallet to "stake" or "claim rewards." The connection step is the trap. Eight of 92 VirusTotal engines flag the domain as of 2026-10-17: alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, Fortinet, G-Data, Gridinsoft, Kaspersky, Netcraft and SOCRadar. That is a modest count, but it includes several major consumer security vendors, so many users' antivirus will already warn them. urlscan.io rates the page malicious and tags it as a crypto scam. MetaMask and SEAL both list it alongside PhishDestroy, which means wallet-level warnings are active. Three AlienVault OTX threat pulses reference it.
