Overview

serelas.club presented itself as "Serelas: Most Popular Online Crypto Casino Based on Blockchain," a gambling site aimed at cryptocurrency users looking for on-chain betting. PhishDestroy classifies it as a fraudulent gambling operation and first flagged it on 2026-10-14. The site went offline on 2026-10-15, one day after detection. As of 2026-10-19 its DNS no longer resolves.

How the scam works

Fake crypto casinos use the language of blockchain transparency and "provably fair" play to look legitimate. The "most popular" claim in this site's title is part of that pitch. Victims deposit crypto to fund a gaming balance, often encouraged by bonuses or early small wins that seem to pay out. When they try to cash out larger sums, withdrawals stall or are blocked, or they are asked for extra fees, verification deposits or minimum turnover before funds are released. Because crypto transfers cannot be reversed, money deposited into such a site is usually gone for good.

Evidence

urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict and matched the page to generic crypto and crypto-scam patterns, which fits a fake casino rather than a real operator. On VirusTotal, 3 of 92 engines flagged the domain as of 2026-10-14: alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker and Fortinet. That count is low, so most scanners would not have warned a visitor. The domain also appears in 4 AlienVault OTX threat pulses, showing that other researchers were tracking it independently of the PhishDestroy blocklist entry.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2026-05-18 through PDR Ltd. (PublicDomainRegistry.com), about five months before PhishDestroy detected it. A gap like that leaves time to build a player base before scrutiny arrives. The site sat behind Cloudflare (AS13335) on US-based edge infrastructure, which hides the real origin server. It used a free Let's Encrypt certificate, so the padlock in the browser said nothing about whether the casino was legitimate.

What to do

If you deposited funds on serelas.club, stop sending money. Do not pay any "withdrawal fee," tax or unlock charge, since those payments only add to the loss. Save your transaction hashes, deposit addresses and account screenshots, and report them to the exchange you sent funds from and to local police or cybercrime authorities. Change any password you reused on the site, and be wary of "recovery services" that contact you promising to retrieve the funds. Defenders should block serelas.club at DNS and proxy level and watch for lookalike casino domains that may replace it.
