oliver-ng-pan-hing.github.io is a Netflix impersonation phishing page presented as "Netflix South Africa - Watch TV Shows." How the scam works
Pages like this copy Netflix's branding and sign-in flow, usually reached through emails or texts claiming a failed payment, a suspended account or a billing update. The victim is asked to enter a Netflix email and password, and often card details "to keep watching." Everything typed goes to the operator, who can take over the streaming account, resell it, or charge the stolen card. Seven of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the page on 2026-09-11: Emsisoft, G-Data, Gridinsoft, LevelBlue, Netcraft, Sophos and Webroot. That is a modest count, but it includes Netcraft and Sophos, both active in phishing detection, so the classification does not rest on a single source. urlscan.io independently rated the page malicious and recognized Netflix branding on it. PhishDestroy lists the domain on its blocklist.
Infrastructure
The site is a GitHub Pages subdomain. Its 2013-03-08 registration date and MarkMonitor, Inc. registrar belong to the parent github.io domain, not to the person who built this page, so they say nothing about how long the phishing setup existed before detection. Traffic was served through Fastly, Inc. in the US, the content delivery network behind GitHub Pages. Using a free hosting subdomain lets an operator put up a branded page quickly, with no domain of their own to buy or register.
What to do
If you entered your Netflix login here, change your Netflix password right away, sign out of all devices from your account settings, and change the password anywhere else you reused it. If you submitted card details, call your bank to block the card and dispute unfamiliar charges. Watch for follow-up messages pretending to come from Netflix, and only manage billing by typing the official address yourself. Security teams should block the hostname, search mail logs for messages linking to it, and reset credentials for any users who clicked.
