nodeeye.online operated as a crypto wallet drainer, presenting itself to visitors as "Nedoxa · Wallet Security Scanner" — a fake security tool designed to lure cryptocurrency holders into surrendering wallet access. PhishDestroy first detected it on 2026-09-13, the same day the domain was registered, indicating it was operational immediately upon launch. The site has since gone offline; it was confirmed dead as of 2026-10-16 and remained so at last check on 2026-10-19.

How the scam works

Wallet drainers dressed as security tools are a well-established attack pattern. The victim is invited to "scan" or "verify" their wallet for threats, which requires connecting it to the site. Once connected, the drainer silently requests broad token-spending approvals or prompts the victim to sign a malicious transaction. The result is that the attacker can transfer tokens and NFTs out of the wallet without any further interaction from the victim.
