PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

niko.soldrop.vip is an impersonation phishing page sitting on a subdomain whose name, soldrop, reads like a Solana token airdrop. That makes holders hunting for free tokens the natural target. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-06. On 2026-10-19 the domain was still alive and answered visitors with a redirect rather than serving content directly.

How the scam works

Impersonation pages of this kind copy the look of a real project or claim portal and promise an allocation that has to be collected right away. The visitor is pushed to connect a wallet and approve or sign what looks like a routine claim. That signature can actually hand over tokens or spending rights. Some variants instead ask for a recovery phrase to verify eligibility, which gives the attacker the whole wallet. The page title currently shows "404 Not Found", while our classification is impersonation phishing.

Evidence

Support from other vendors is still thin. On 2026-10-19, VirusTotal showed 4 of 92 engines flagging the domain: alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft and SOCRadar. ScamSniffer, which specializes in Web3 wallet threats, lists it independently of PhishDestroy. A low engine count means many browsers and security tools will not warn visitors yet, so a missing warning is no sign the site is safe.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc on 2026-08-28, nine days before PhishDestroy caught it. That short gap fits a site built for a quick campaign rather than a long-lived project. Traffic passes through Cloudflare's network, with the address geolocated to Canada, so the real origin server stays hidden. The certificate comes from Google Trust Services (WE1), which is issued automatically, so the padlock proves nothing about who runs the site.

What to do

If you only opened the page, close it and do not come back through the same link. If you connected a wallet and signed anything, review and revoke token approvals for that address with a reputable approval checker. Move remaining funds to a fresh wallet if you are unsure what you signed. If you typed a recovery phrase, treat the wallet as compromised and transfer everything to a newly generated wallet immediately. Defenders should block the whole soldrop.vip domain, not just this subdomain, and watch for sibling hosts on the same name.
