How the scam works
The page title reads "奈飞冲浪-Netflix.Surf | Netflix迷-非官方奈飞Netflix中国", which translates roughly to "Netflix Surf, for Netflix fans, unofficial Netflix China." The title openly calls the site unofficial, but we classify it as impersonation because it trades on the Netflix brand and domain name. Sites built this way usually draw in people who want Netflix access, then ask them to sign in, buy a subscription or shared account, or enter payment details on pages that Netflix does not control. Victims can lose their streaming login, their card data, or money paid for access that never arrives or is later cut off.
Evidence
On 2026-10-06, 11 of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain. They include alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, ESET, Fortinet, G-Data, Gridinsoft, Lionic and Seclookup. Phishunt lists it independently of PhishDestroy, and five AlienVault OTX threat pulses reference it. That combination shows separate research teams reached the same conclusion.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through DYNADOT LLC on 2019-01-26, more than seven years before PhishDestroy detected it. This is a long-standing property rather than a throwaway domain set up for a short campaign. It sits behind Cloudflare (AS13335) on a US-based address, so the real origin server is hidden. Its certificate from Google Trust Services only shows the connection is encrypted, not that the site is legitimate.
What to do
If you signed in on netflix.surf with your Netflix credentials, change your Netflix password now. Also change it on any other service where you reused it, and sign out of all devices from your account settings. If you entered card details or paid for access, contact your bank to dispute the charge and consider replacing the card. Only subscribe or manage billing through Netflix's own app or official site. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and web proxies and add it to email and chat filtering. Report it to Netflix's brand protection team and to Cloudflare so they can act on the impersonation.
