How the scam works
Impersonation pages copy the name and look of an organisation so visitors trust them enough to sign in, register or hand over details. The "Navarra Fondorex" title suggests a finance or fund brand, which fits schemes that ask for login credentials, identity documents, card data or direct deposits. Whatever a victim types or sends goes straight to the operators. That can mean hijacked accounts, identity fraud, or money transferred with no way to recover it.
Evidence
Fifteen of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain on 2026-10-09. They include BitDefender, ESET, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, alphaMountain.ai, CyRadar and DNS8, a spread of independent vendors that agree on the verdict. Spamhaus lists it in its Domain Block List under the spam category. The domain appears in five AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other researchers are tracking it as well. It is also on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc on 2026-04-02, roughly six months before PhishDestroy caught it. That gap suggests a site prepared well ahead or one that ran quietly for a while. It is hosted on the Omegatech LTD network (OMEGATECH-AS) at 158.94.210.119, with the server in the Netherlands. Its free Let's Encrypt certificate gives it a padlock in the browser, but that only means the connection is encrypted. It says nothing about who runs the site.
What to do
Do not log in, register or send money through navarrafondorex.com. If you entered a password there, change it now on the real service and on any account that reuses it, and turn on two-factor authentication. If you shared card or bank details, call your bank to block the card and dispute recent charges. If you sent identity documents, watch for identity misuse. Do not pay any "fee" or "tax" the operators demand to release funds, because those payments are part of the fraud. Defenders should block the domain and its IP at DNS and proxy level, and search mail and web logs for users who visited it.
