PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

n.exchange is classified by PhishDestroy as an impersonation phishing page that targets cryptocurrency users who expect a legitimate exchange service. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-08-09. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online with its content live, so it remains reachable for anyone who lands on it.

How the scam works

Impersonation sites copy the look, wording and trust signals of a real service so visitors believe they are dealing with the genuine operator. Once trust is established, the page steers the victim to send crypto for a swap or deposit, or to enter account credentials, and those funds or logins go straight to the operator. The page title reads "About Us - n.exchange", which presents the site under its own name rather than a third-party brand, while our classification is impersonation. Transfers made to such a site are typically irreversible, and stolen credentials can be reused against the victim's other accounts.

Evidence

Independent detection is thin. VirusTotal shows 4 of 89 engines flagging the domain as of 2026-09-19: Chong Lua Dao, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft and SOCRadar. Three AlienVault OTX threat-intelligence pulses also reference it. Among blocklists, only PhishDestroy lists it, so most browsers and security tools will not warn visitors yet.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2018-01-26 through NameCheap, Inc., more than eight years before PhishDestroy flagged it. An address that old lacks the fresh-registration warning sign many filters rely on. The site sits behind Cloudflare, Inc. on an IP geolocated to Canada, which hides the actual origin server. Its TLS certificate comes from Google Trust Services (WE1), an automated issuer, so the browser padlock confirms only an encrypted connection and says nothing about whether the site is trustworthy.

What to do

Do not send crypto to n.exchange or pay any fee it demands to release or process a transaction. If you entered a password there, change it immediately on the real service and anywhere else you reused it, and enable app-based 2FA. Record transaction hashes and the amounts you sent, then report them to your wallet provider, to any exchange that received the funds, and to the police. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and proxy level, check logs for users who visited it, and report the site to Cloudflare and the registrar so it can be taken down.
