Overview

mysubs.best is a phishing page that impersonated Telegram and targeted people who use the messenger, including the crypto communities that run much of their activity there. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-17. The site has been offline since 2026-09-18, and as of 2026-10-19 its DNS is inactive.

How the scam works

Telegram impersonation pages usually copy the official login flow. They ask for a phone number, then the one-time code Telegram sends, and sometimes the cloud password. Whoever holds those three items can open a live session on the victim's account, read private chats, take over channels and groups, and message contacts with fake investment offers or wallet-draining links that look like they come from someone trusted. The page title shown here was the generic "Just a moment..." interstitial, while urlscan.io matched the page content to Telegram, which is the basis of our classification.

Evidence

urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict and identified Telegram as the brand being imitated. Detection on VirusTotal was thin: only CRDF flagged the domain, 1 of 89 engines on 2026-09-17, so most antivirus-style filters would not have stopped a visitor. Coverage came mainly from crypto-focused blocklists. The domain is listed by PhishDestroy, MetaMask and SEAL, which means MetaMask users were warned before the page could load.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered through Spaceship, Inc. on 2026-09-09, eight days before PhishDestroy detected it. It went dark the day after detection, which fits the short-lived, disposable domains common in phishing runs. Traffic passed through Cloudflare, Inc. (CA), so the server that actually hosted the page was never exposed.

What to do

If you entered your phone number, a login code or your cloud password on this page, open Telegram's Active Sessions settings right away. Terminate every session you don't recognize, then set or change your two-step verification password. Warn your contacts not to trust recent messages from you that ask for money, logins or wallet connections, and check any channels or groups you administer for added admins. Defenders should block mysubs.best and look in DNS and proxy logs for visits between 2026-09-09 and 2026-09-18 to find users who may need their sessions reset.
