PhishDestroy threat report
multxchangezone.click is an impersonation phishing page that presents itself as MULTIXCHANGE. Its Russian-language title, "Премиальный сервис обмена активов" ("Premium asset exchange service"), shows that it targets Russian-speaking users who want to swap cryptocurrency. PhishDestroy first flagged the domain on 2026-09-06. On 2026-10-19 the site was still online with its content live.
Fake exchange pages copy the name and look of a known swap service, then ask visitors to send crypto to a deposit address for conversion. The exchanged funds never arrive. Victims who complain are often told to pay an extra "verification" or "withdrawal" fee, which is also lost. Some of these pages also ask visitors to log in or connect a wallet, which exposes credentials or wallet permissions. The "premium" wording on this page is meant to suggest an established, trustworthy operator.
On 2026-09-15, 12 of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain. Detecting vendors include Kaspersky, BitDefender, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, Gridinsoft, CRDF and alphaMountain.ai. That is a modest share of engines, but the classification also appears in wallet-focused blocklists. MetaMask and SEAL list the domain alongside PhishDestroy, and Spamhaus carries it in its DBL as a phishing domain. It also appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other researchers have tracked it independently.
The domain was registered through Namecheap on 2026-09-03, only three days before PhishDestroy detected it. That pattern fits a site set up quickly for a campaign. It sits behind Cloudflare's US network, which hides the real origin server from casual lookup. Its TLS certificate comes from Google Trust Services, so the padlock in the browser only means the connection is encrypted, not that the operator is legitimate.
Do not deposit anything through this site, and do not pay any fee it demands to "release" or withdraw funds. If you already sent crypto, record the transaction hashes and the deposit address it gave you, then report them to your wallet provider or exchange and to the police. If you connected a wallet, revoke any token approvals granted during the visit and move remaining assets to a fresh address. If you reused a password there, change it everywhere and turn on 2FA. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and proxy level and warn Russian-speaking crypto users about lookalike MULTIXCHANGE sites.
