PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-15, and it was still online and serving content when checked on 2026-10-19. The title promotes a self-named "Mavureto" brand rather than a recognizable company, while our classification places the site in the impersonation category.
How the scam works
Sites in this category borrow the look and promises of legitimate trading services. Here the hook is "AI trading": automated profits and growth with little effort. Victims are typically asked to register, hand over personal details or login credentials, and fund an account. The dashboard may then show balances that appear to grow. When the victim tries to withdraw, new "fees," "taxes," or verification deposits appear, and the money already sent is lost along with any identity data entered.
Evidence
On 2026-09-25, 15 of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain. The vendors included alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CRDF, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data and Gridinsoft. Detection from that many unrelated security vendors makes a false positive unlikely. The domain also appears in five AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which means other researchers have tracked it independently, and it is listed on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc on 2026-07-13, about two months before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap fits a site built and promoted quietly before it drew attention. It is hosted at 158.94.210.119 on the Omegatech LTD network in the Netherlands, far from the Japanese audience it addresses.
What to do
Do not deposit anything further, and ignore any demand for a "withdrawal fee" or unlock payment, because paying it never releases funds. If you sent money by card or bank transfer, contact your bank or card issuer right away to dispute the payment. Report the loss to local police and keep screenshots of the dashboard, chats and transaction records. If you reused a password on the site, change it everywhere you used it and turn on two-factor authentication. Be wary of follow-up offers to "recover" your funds, since these are often a second scam.
