mask-gift.com is an impersonation phishing page that copies MetaMask, the popular browser and mobile crypto wallet, to target its users. PhishDestroy first detected it on 2026-10-15, only three days after the domain was registered. As of 2026-10-19 the site is still online and serving its phishing content.

How the scam works

The page uses the title "MetaMask Crypto Wallet" to pass as the real product. Visitors are typically led to it through ads, social media posts or direct messages. Fake MetaMask pages like this usually ask the visitor to "restore", "verify" or "claim" something by entering their Secret Recovery Phrase or private key, or to connect their wallet and sign a transaction. Anyone who hands over a recovery phrase gives the operators full control of the wallet, and they can empty it at once. A malicious signature can let them move tokens out without asking again.
