luxarabet.vip is an impersonation phishing site that passes itself off as a legitimate service to collect logins or wallet access from people who believe they are on the real thing. Its presence on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists points to crypto wallet users as the intended targets. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-09-11. The domain went dark on 2026-09-16, and it still had no active DNS when we rechecked on 2026-10-19.
How the scam works
Impersonation pages copy the look and wording of a trusted brand. Victims usually arrive through ads, direct messages or search results, then type in passwords, recovery phrases or one-time codes, or connect a wallet and approve requests that hand their funds to the operator. The page carried the title "New Private Tab", which is a generic browser label rather than a brand name, while we classified the site as impersonation phishing.
Evidence
When VirusTotal scanned the site on 2026-09-13, 11 of 89 engines flagged it. The flagging vendors included alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, Chong Lua Dao, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data and Gridinsoft. Those engines reached their verdicts separately, and Spamhaus's domain blocklist reinforces them by listing the domain as phishing. MetaMask and SEAL, two crypto-focused feeds, block it alongside PhishDestroy, and three AlienVault OTX threat pulses reference it.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered on 2025-10-09 through Gname.com Pte. Ltd., about eleven months before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap suggests the name was held for some time before it was used. The site resolved to an IP in Japan on SonderCloud Limited's Hong Kong–registered network. It went offline five days after we first saw it.
What to do
If you entered a password or one-time code on luxarabet.vip, change that password right away on the genuine service and on any account that shares it, and reset two-factor authentication. If you connected a wallet or signed anything there, revoke all token approvals with a trusted approval-checker. If you typed in a seed phrase, move your remaining funds to a new wallet, because that phrase is compromised. Defenders should block the domain and its hosting IP, search proxy and DNS logs from 2026-09-11 onward for users who reached it, and keep the domain blocked in case it is reactivated.
