lenalena1268.github.io is a phishing page that copies Netflix. It sits on a free GitHub Pages subdomain and aims at Netflix subscribers. PhishDestroy first detected it on 2026-09-11, and it went offline that same day. When we last checked it on 2026-10-19, the address returned no content at its root. The page title reads "Netflix Website Clone", which presents it as a replica project, but its behavior and the independent verdicts led us to classify it as impersonation phishing.
How the scam works
Netflix lookalikes copy the streaming service's sign-in screen, and often its billing pages, so that a victim types in their real email and password. Many versions then claim a payment failed or an account was suspended and ask for card details to restore service. Everything typed into the form goes to the operator, not to Netflix. Stolen accounts are resold or taken over, and card data is used for fraud. Free hosting on a well-known developer platform makes such pages quick to launch and gives them a familiar-looking address.
Evidence
On 2026-09-15, VirusTotal showed 13 of 89 engines flagging the page. The vendors included Google Safe Browsing, BitDefender, ESET, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, Emsisoft and alphaMountain.ai. That is a moderate count, but it comes from several unrelated security vendors. Google Safe Browsing lists the page as SOCIAL_ENGINEERING, its category for deceptive login and phishing pages. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict and automatically detected Netflix branding. The domain is on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
Infrastructure
The page is a subdomain of github.io. The 2013-03-08 registration date and the MarkMonitor, Inc. registrar belong to that shared parent domain, not to this operator. The page itself is served from the Fastly, Inc. network in the US, which fronts GitHub Pages content. This is a throwaway setup on borrowed infrastructure. The operator needed no domain purchase, which also explains why the page disappeared so quickly once it was detected.
What to do
If you entered your Netflix password on this page, change it right away from the official Netflix app or site. Use "sign out of all devices" and change the password anywhere else you reused it. If you also entered card details, contact your bank to block the card and dispute any unfamiliar charges. Then watch for follow-up emails that pretend to be Netflix billing notices. Defenders should block this subdomain specifically and add it to email and web filtering lists, rather than blocking github.io as a whole. They can also report any surviving copies to GitHub for removal.
