krken.ssylka-kraken.xyz is an impersonation phishing page that trades on the Kraken name. Its Russian title, "Кракен ссылки 2026 рабочая ссылка — Кракен", translates to "Kraken links 2026, working link — Kraken". It is built to catch Russian-speaking users who search for an access link instead of typing a known address. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-25, and it was still online with live content on 2026-10-19.
How the scam works
The hostname itself is the lure. "ssylka" is a transliteration of the Russian word for "link", and "krken" is a one-letter misspelling of the brand. Together they make the page look like a helpful directory of up-to-date Kraken links. A visitor who trusts it and follows the page onward to sign in risks handing their username, password and one-time codes to the operators. With those, the operators can take over the account and withdraw whatever balance it holds.
Evidence
Independent detection is still thin. On 2026-10-06, VirusTotal showed 3 of 91 engines flagging the domain: alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker and SOCRadar. PhishDestroy is currently the only blocklist carrying it. Most browsers and security filters will therefore load the page without any warning, which makes the misspelled brand in the hostname the clearest red flag.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc on 2026-04-05, nearly six months before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap suggests a domain held in reserve or one that ran quietly for a while before surfacing. Traffic passes through Cloudflare, with the edge address located in Canada, so the real origin server is hidden. The Let's Encrypt certificate means the padlock icon proves nothing about who runs the site.
What to do
If you entered Kraken credentials here, change your password immediately from the official app or a bookmarked address. Reset two-factor authentication, sign out all active sessions, and check your withdrawal addresses and recent activity for anything you did not authorize. If funds moved, contact Kraken support right away with timestamps. Change the password anywhere else you reused it. Defenders should block the domain, add the "ssylka" plus misspelled-brand naming pattern to lookalike monitoring, and report it to Cloudflare and Dynadot.
