How the scam works

VirusTotal showed 0 of 92 engines flagging the domain on 2026-10-16, and PhishDestroy is the only blocklist listing it. Many security tools have not caught up with this site, so a clean scan result does not mean it is safe.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered on 2026-10-12 through Spaceship, Inc., four days before PhishDestroy detected it. It resolves to 52.37.165.222 on the AMAZON-02 network operated by Amazon.com, Inc. in the US. The site uses a TLS certificate from Let's Encrypt (YE1), so the padlock in the browser only shows the connection is encrypted and says nothing about who runs the site.
What to do
If you entered a Kakobuy password on this site, change it right away on the official service and change it anywhere else you reuse it. Turn on two-factor authentication where available. If you entered card or payment details, contact your bank or card issuer to block the card, dispute any charges and watch your statements for unfamiliar transactions. Do not pay any further "shipping" or "handling" fees that the site requests. Security teams should block kakobuyeu.lol at the DNS and proxy level and report it to the registrar and hosting provider.
