Overview

gsm.fundzcapital.online is a domain on the PhishDestroy blocklist that presented itself as "Remedy," a CFD trading service offering trades on stocks, gold, oil and indices. Its audience was retail investors looking for leveraged trading access. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-07-27. The site has been offline since 2026-09-09, and its DNS was still inactive when last checked on 2026-10-19.

How the scam works

The page title, "Remedy | CFD Trading — Trading on Stocks, Gold, Oil, Indices," pitches leveraged speculation on commodities and market indices. That pitch sat on a throwaway-looking subdomain of a "fundzcapital" brand on a cheap generic TLD rather than on an identifiable, licensed broker's domain. The risk this combination points to is money handed to an unverifiable platform. Visitors may be asked to register, submit identity documents and fund an account, and sites of this kind often display paper profits while blocking or charging for withdrawals. Anything deposited, along with any personal or ID data shared, should be treated as exposed.

Evidence

On 2026-08-14, five of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain: alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft, Netcraft and SOCRadar. That is a small share. It still matters because the five are separate vendors, and Netcraft in particular focuses on fraud and phishing sites. Beyond VirusTotal, the domain appears only on the PhishDestroy blocklist.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered through NameCheap, Inc. and hosted on Namecheap's own network in the United States. That makes it a single-provider, low-cost setup typical of short-lived sites. It used a domain-validated Sectigo certificate. That only proves control of the domain, so the padlock said nothing about who ran the trading service. Roughly six weeks passed between PhishDestroy's first sighting and the site going dark.

What to do

If you opened an account or deposited funds with "Remedy," do not send more money, including any "withdrawal fee," "tax" or "unlock" payment. Contact your bank or card issuer about a chargeback, and report the payments to your national financial regulator and police. If you uploaded ID documents, watch for identity misuse and treat any follow-up "recovery service" offers as a second scam. Change any password you reused on the site. Defenders should block the domain and the wider fundzcapital.online zone, and check proxy logs for users who visited between 2026-07-27 and 2026-09-09.
