How the scam works
The page title shows a Cloudflare "520: Web server is returning an unknown error" message, while we list the domain as suspicious. That error page is not the whole story, because the domain currently forwards traffic to another destination. Domains styled as official-looking "gov" addresses are commonly used to make a payment request, fine notice or account form appear authoritative. The real risk is that a visitor clicking through a text or email reaches a page asking for personal details, card numbers or login credentials and hands them to whoever runs the destination.
Evidence
On 2026-10-16, six of 92 engines on VirusTotal flagged the domain: alphaMountain.ai, Bfore.Ai PreCrime, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, LevelBlue, SOCRadar and Sophos. That is a modest count, but it comes from several unrelated vendors, including predictive services that score newly abused domains. The domain also appears in three AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which means other researchers have tied it to tracked malicious activity. Among blocklists, only PhishDestroy currently lists it.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc. on 2026-04-25, about five and a half months before we picked it up. That gap fits a domain that was registered and then held until it was needed. It sits behind Cloudflare, Inc. on an address geolocated to Canada, so the network shown is a proxy layer rather than the actual origin server.
