fortprc.life is a phishing site built to pass itself off as a legitimate service so visitors trust it with sensitive information. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-06. As of 2026-10-19 the domain still responds, but its DNS no longer points to active page content, so the operators can switch it back on at any time.
How the scam works
Impersonation pages copy the look, wording and flow of a real brand, then put a login, verification or payment step where the victim least expects a trap. Whatever is typed in goes straight to the operators. That can include account passwords, one-time codes, card numbers or wallet recovery phrases, and the result is account takeover or direct theft. The browser tab on this site reads only "Loading", which identifies no brand, while our classification is impersonation phishing.
Evidence
Seven of 92 VirusTotal engines marked the domain malicious when it was checked on 2026-10-10: alphaMountain.ai, Emsisoft, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Netcraft, SOCRadar and Webroot. That is a modest count, but it comes from several unrelated vendors, including Netcraft, which specializes in phishing takedowns. Spamhaus lists the domain in its DBL as spam. It also appears in three AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other researchers have tied it to malicious activity independently. PhishDestroy is the only blocklist that currently carries it.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered on 2026-06-21 through PDR Ltd. (PublicDomainRegistry.com), about 107 days before we detected it. That gap suggests it sat idle or was used quietly before the phishing page drew attention. The server sits in Finland on a network announced by M/S Robi Traders, an autonomous system registered in Bangladesh. The cheap .life extension and the free Let's Encrypt certificate fit a setup meant to look legitimate in the address bar at almost no cost.
What to do
If you entered a password on this site, change it immediately on the genuine service and on any other account that shares it. Then turn on app-based two-factor authentication and sign out all active sessions. If you typed card or bank details, call your bank to block the card and dispute any charges. If you entered a wallet recovery phrase, move your funds to a newly created wallet right away, because that phrase is now compromised. Security teams should block fortprc.life at DNS and proxy level and search logs for earlier visits from their users.
