fortnitestore.shop is an impersonation phishing page that uses the Fortnite name to pass itself off as a game store and draw in players. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-19. As of 2026-10-19 the domain was still registered, but its DNS no longer pointed to any content.
How the scam works
Fake game stores of this kind usually promise discounted V-Bucks, rare skins or bundles that the official shop doesn't offer. The buyer is then asked to sign in with their game account or pay by card. Victims risk losing their Fortnite account, along with any purchased items, and the payment details they type in. The page title only reads "Loading" and shows no Fortnite branding, while our classification rests on the brand impersonation in the domain name.
Evidence
Six of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-10-02: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, LevelBlue and SOCRadar. That is a modest count, but these are separate vendors reaching the same verdict on their own. Spamhaus lists the domain in its DBL as a spam domain, and it appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses. PhishDestroy is so far the only dedicated blocklist carrying it.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered on 2026-07-31 through Global Domain Group LLC, 50 days before we detected it. That gap suggests the operators let it sit for a while or ran it quietly before it drew attention. It was hosted on the M/S ROBI TRADERS network in Turkey. Its certificate came from Let's Encrypt, so the padlock in the browser said nothing about whether the store was genuine.
What to do
If you signed in on this site, change your Fortnite account password right away and turn on two-factor authentication.
