PhishDestroy threat report
fortleack.top is an impersonation phishing site that copies the look of a legitimate service so crypto users trust it with sensitive information. PhishDestroy first detected it on 2026-09-19. As of 2026-10-19 the host still responds, but the phishing content is no longer being served. The page currently carries the title "403 · Forbidden — SilkGuard", a SilkGuard-branded access-denied screen, while our classification is impersonation phishing.
Impersonation pages reproduce the branding, wording and layout of a service the victim already uses. Visitors usually arrive from a link in a message, ad or search result. The fake page then asks them to sign in, verify an account or complete a security step. Anything typed there goes straight to the operators: passwords, one-time codes, personal details or, on crypto-themed clones, wallet recovery phrases. With those in hand, the attackers can take over accounts or empty wallets before the victim notices anything is wrong.
On 2026-09-26, 6 of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, LevelBlue and SOCRadar. That is a modest count, but it comes from several unrelated vendors that reached the same conclusion on their own. Spamhaus also lists the domain in its DBL under the spam category, which affects how mail filters treat links to it. The domain appears in 4 AlienVault OTX threat pulses, and PhishDestroy lists it on its blocklist.
The domain was registered on 2026-08-01 through PDR Ltd. (PublicDomainRegistry.com). Detection came about seven weeks later, a short lifespan typical of disposable phishing domains. It is hosted at 109.238.86.76 on the UFO TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED network in Great Britain. Its free Let's Encrypt certificate shows a padlock in the browser, which proves nothing about who runs the site.
If you entered a password on this site, change it right away on the real service and on any other account that shares it. Turn on app-based two-factor authentication, and sign out of other active sessions where the service allows it. If you typed a wallet recovery phrase, treat that wallet as compromised and move your funds to a new wallet created with a fresh phrase. Security teams should block fortleack.top and 109.238.86.76 at DNS, proxy and mail gateways. They should also search logs for earlier visits and warn any users who reached the page.
