fm420.shop is an impersonation phishing page that presented itself under the name "FM420" to pass as a legitimate brand. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-13. The site went offline on 2026-09-18, and when last checked on 2026-10-19 its domain no longer resolved in DNS.
How the scam works
Impersonation pages borrow a familiar name, here the "FM420" title, so visitors believe they are dealing with the real service. Once trust is established, the page asks for something of value, such as account logins, personal or card details, a direct payment, or a crypto transfer. Anything entered or sent goes to the operators, and payments made to a fake brand are generally not recoverable.
Evidence
On 2026-09-16, five of 89 VirusTotal engines classified the domain as malicious: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, SOCRadar and Sophos. That is a low count, but it comes from vendors that operate independently of one another and of PhishDestroy. The domain also appears in one AlienVault OTX threat pulse, and PhishDestroy lists it on its own blocklist.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc. on 2026-02-17, nearly seven months before it was detected. That gap suggests it was held in reserve rather than used immediately after registration. Its traffic went through Cloudflare's network on an address geolocated to Canada, which hides the true origin server from visitors and researchers.
What to do
If you entered a password on this site, change it everywhere you reuse it and enable two-factor authentication. If you paid by card, contact your bank to dispute the charge and watch for further fraudulent use. If you shared personal details, expect follow-up phishing that cites them, and ignore any "refund" or "support" contact that claims to be FM420. Defenders should keep fm420.shop blocked even though it is currently down, because dormant domains can be reactivated, and should search logs for any visits made before 2026-09-18.
