PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

flipt.fun is an impersonation phishing site that leans on the Curve brand to look like a legitimate DeFi venue. It targets crypto users who are comfortable connecting a wallet to trade or launch tokens. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-27, and as of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its content.

How the scam works

The page presents itself as "flipt.fun - fair-launch bonding curves," which frames it as a token launchpad rather than an explicit copy of Curve, while our classification is brand impersonation of Curve. Sites like this borrow the credibility of a known DeFi name so visitors connect a wallet and sign whatever the interface asks for. In this kind of scheme, a single approval or signed message can hand an attacker permission to move tokens out of the wallet, and those transfers cannot be reversed.

Evidence

Independent detection is still thin. On 2026-10-10, VirusTotal showed 3 of 92 engines flagging the domain: Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft and SOCRadar. PhishDestroy is the only blocklist carrying it so far, so most browsers and wallets will not warn visitors yet. Four AlienVault OTX pulses reference the domain, which shows other researchers are tracking it even though vendor coverage lags.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2026-08-25 through Cloudflare, Inc., about a month before PhishDestroy caught it, which fits a site built for a short campaign. It resolves to Cloudflare's network with a Canadian location, so the actual origin server stays hidden behind the proxy. The certificate comes from Google Trust Services (WE1), which means the padlock in the browser says nothing about whether the site is safe.

What to do

If you connected a wallet to flipt.fun, open a token-approval checker right away and revoke every permission granted to contracts you met through this site. If you signed transactions or see unfamiliar approvals, move your remaining funds to a new wallet with a fresh seed phrase. Never type a seed phrase into any site, and reach Curve only through a bookmarked official address. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and proxy level, add it to wallet-protection lists, and report it to Cloudflare so they can act on the domain and the proxied site.
