faze.fun is an impersonation phishing page that presents itself as Faze under the banner "Faze - Launch and trade your way". The pitch targets crypto users who want to launch tokens or trade them quickly. PhishDestroy first flagged the domain on 2026-09-27. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its content.
How the scam works
Launch-and-trade platforms ask visitors to connect a wallet before they can create a token or place a trade, and impersonation pages exploit that habit. A visitor who trusts the Faze branding connects a wallet. They may then be asked to approve a transaction, sign a message or enter a recovery phrase. Each of those prompts can hand control of funds to the operator. Signed token approvals or a typed seed phrase let the attacker move assets out of the wallet without any further action from the victim.
Evidence
On VirusTotal, 4 of 92 engines flagged the domain as of 2026-10-10: alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft and SOCRadar. That is a thin count, so most security products would not yet warn a visitor. The domain also appears in 3 AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which shows other researchers are tracking it. Infrastructure
The domain was registered on 2026-08-10 through Namecheap, about seven weeks before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap leaves room to build the page and seed it to targets before anyone notices. It says nothing about whether the site is legitimate.
What to do
If you connected a wallet to faze.fun, review and revoke any token approvals granted during that session with a trusted approval-checking tool. Move the remaining assets to a fresh wallet if you signed anything you did not fully understand. If you typed a seed phrase into the site, treat that wallet as compromised and transfer the funds immediately. Do not attempt any further launches or trades there. Defenders should block the domain and its hosting IP, and add faze.fun to wallet and browser warning lists given the low vendor coverage. They should also report the site to its hosting provider and registrar for takedown.
