ethmna.com is an impersonation phishing page that presents itself as "Onchain-ETH", a name chosen to look like a legitimate Ethereum on-chain service. It targets people who hold or trade ETH and expect a genuine Ethereum tool. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-14. When last checked on 2026-10-19, the site was still online and serving its phishing content.
How the scam works
The "Onchain-ETH" branding gives the page a technical, official look, so visitors assume they are using a real Ethereum service. Impersonation pages of this kind usually push the visitor to connect a wallet, sign a transaction or approval, or type in a recovery phrase to "verify" or "activate" an account. A signed approval lets the operator move tokens out of the wallet. A typed seed phrase hands over the whole wallet. Either way, victims lose crypto they cannot recover once it leaves their address.
Evidence
On 2026-09-27, 5 of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as malicious: alphaMountain.ai, Bfore.Ai PreCrime, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker and SOCRadar. That is a low count, so many browsers and security tools may still let the page load without a warning. PhishDestroy lists it on our blocklist, and the domain appears in 3 AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which means other researchers have tracked it independently.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Porkbun LLC on 2025-12-18, about nine months before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap suggests either a slow rollout or a long stretch of activity that went unnoticed. The site sits behind Cloudflare, with the network address mapping to Canada. Because Cloudflare acts as a proxy, the real origin server is hidden from view. The certificate comes from Google Trust Services, which is routine for sites on this network and makes the padlock icon meaningless as a sign of trust.
What to do
If you connected a wallet to ethmna.com, use a token-approval checker right away to revoke any permissions you granted, and move your remaining assets to a fresh address. If you entered a seed phrase or private key, treat that wallet as fully compromised. Create a new wallet with a new phrase and transfer everything that is left immediately. Do not pay anyone who offers to recover stolen funds, because these offers are a common follow-up scam. Defenders should block ethmna.com at the DNS and proxy level and add it to wallet-protection and email filtering lists. Reporting it to Cloudflare and Porkbun will help get the live page taken down.
