Overview

etanda.com is an impersonation phishing site built to look like a generic email sign-in page, aimed at people who can be tricked into entering their mailbox username and password. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-10-15. As of 2026-10-19 the domain was still alive, with its content reachable but protected behind an access barrier.

How the scam works

Generic email phishing usually starts with a message warning about a full mailbox, a pending document or an expiring password, with a link to a page styled as a webmail login. Whatever the victim types into that form goes to the attackers. A hijacked inbox lets them reset passwords on other services, including exchange and wallet accounts tied to that address, and send further lures from a trusted sender. When checked, the page served the title "403 — Forbidden", while our classification is impersonation phishing.

Evidence

On VirusTotal, 13 of 92 engines flagged the domain as of 2026-10-19, including Abusix, alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data, Gridinsoft and LevelBlue. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict and matched the page to a generic email brand template. Spamhaus DBL lists the domain as DBL_PHISH, and it is on the PhishDestroy blocklist.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2004-03-27 through NameSilo, LLC. It is hosted at 102.220.161.143 on the VPS Dedicated LLC network in Slovenia (SI). Its TLS certificate was issued by Let's Encrypt (YR2), so a padlock in the browser says nothing about whether the site is legitimate.

What to do

If you opened this site, close it and do not return. If you entered an email address and password, change that password right away from your provider's official app or site. Change it on any other account that used the same password too, turn on two-factor authentication, and review recent sign-ins and forwarding rules in your mailbox. Check any exchange or wallet-related accounts linked to that email for password-reset messages or logins you don't recognize. Defenders should block etanda.com at the DNS, proxy and email gateway level, search mail logs for messages containing the domain, and reset credentials for any user who clicked through.
