epicklocker.digital is an impersonation phishing page built to pass itself off as a legitimate service and lure crypto users into trusting it. PhishDestroy first detected it on 2026-08-24, less than four weeks after the domain was registered. The site went offline on 2026-09-11, and on 2026-10-19 its DNS was still inactive, so it no longer resolves.
How the scam works
Impersonation pages copy the look, wording and flow of a brand people already trust, then ask visitors to sign in, verify an account or submit details. Whatever is typed in goes straight to the operators, who can use it to take over the real account or to run follow-up fraud. The page title shows only a generic "Loading" placeholder rather than a brand name, while we classify the site as impersonation phishing.
Evidence
On 2026-09-06, five of 90 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain: alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft, SOCRadar and VIPRE. That is a small share, but these are five unrelated vendors reaching the same verdict on a weeks-old domain. Spamhaus lists the domain in its DBL as spam, and four AlienVault OTX pulses reference it, showing that other researchers were tracking it too. It is also on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered on 2026-07-29 through PDR Ltd. d/b/a PublicDomainRegistry.com and was being used for phishing within 26 days. It was hosted at 158.94.211.169 on the Omegatech LTD network in the Netherlands. Its free, automatically issued Let's Encrypt certificate gave the page a padlock, which says nothing about whether a site is genuine. The cheap .digital domain, quick launch and roughly two-week run before going offline fit a throwaway setup.
What to do
If you entered a username, password or email on this site, change that password right away on the real service and on any other account that uses it, then turn on app-based two-factor authentication. Check recent account activity, active sessions and recovery settings for changes you did not make. If you typed in payment or identity details, contact your provider and watch for targeted follow-up messages that reuse what you shared. Defenders should block the domain and its hosting IP, search mail and proxy logs for visits since 2026-07-29, and reset credentials for any users who reached the page.
