How the scam works

On a fake front end, those signatures can hand over token approvals or send funds straight to the operators instead of to any real asset. Some clones also ask for a seed phrase under the pretext of verification or syncing. Either path can empty the connected wallet, and on-chain transfers cannot be reversed.

On 2026-10-10, five of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft and SOCRadar. If you typed in a seed phrase, treat that wallet as fully compromised and transfer everything out immediately. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and proxy level, report it to Cloudflare and GoDaddy, and alert users who follow real-world-asset projects on Arc.
