PhishDestroy threat report
coindxca.com is an impersonation phishing site that presents itself under the bare page title "DEX", posing as a decentralized exchange to lure crypto traders. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-09, six days after the domain was registered. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its phishing content, so it remains an active danger.
Impersonation pages like this copy the look of a legitimate trading service so visitors trust it enough to act. On a page styled as a DEX, the usual next step is a prompt to connect a wallet and sign transactions, or to enter login details or a recovery phrase. A malicious signature or token approval lets the operators move assets out of the wallet, and a typed seed phrase hands over the wallet entirely. Losses from these schemes are typically immediate and cannot be reversed on-chain.
Seven of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain at the 2026-10-13 check: alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data, Gridinsoft and Kaspersky. That count is modest, so many security tools may still let the page load without a warning. More telling for wallet users, the domain sits on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists alongside PhishDestroy's own. It also appears in three AlienVault OTX threat pulses.
The domain was registered through GoDaddy.com, LLC on 2026-10-03 and was caught within a week, which is the short lifespan typical of disposable phishing domains. It is hosted in Hong Kong on the Dimension Network & Communication Limited network (DNC-AS). The free Let's Encrypt certificate means the padlock in the browser says nothing about whether the site is trustworthy.
Do not connect a wallet, sign anything or type a recovery phrase on coindxca.com. If you already connected a wallet and approved anything, revoke those token approvals right away with a reputable approval checker and move the remaining funds to a fresh wallet. If you entered a seed phrase, treat that wallet as compromised and transfer everything out immediately. If you reused a password there, change it everywhere and turn on 2FA. Defenders should block the domain and its hosting IP and keep an eye out for lookalike exchange domains registered around the same time.

An estimated time describes an observation window. It does not prove a registrar action or the exact moment a site became unavailable.
Dated changes retained by the monitor and source collectors. Newest observations appear first; source states are not proof of a takedown.
