checker-saturn.xyz is an impersonation phishing page aimed at crypto wallet users. It uses a "checker" name, the kind of branding usually given to fake eligibility or airdrop-check tools. PhishDestroy first detected it on 2026-10-07. As of 2026-10-19 the domain no longer resolves in DNS, so the page is currently offline, but the name could be re-pointed at any time.
How the scam works
Checker-style phishing sites invite visitors to see whether their wallet qualifies for a reward or allocation. To run the check, the visitor is asked to connect a wallet and then sign a transaction or approval, or to type in a seed phrase. A signed approval lets the operator move tokens out of the wallet, and a seed phrase gives full control of it. The page title was the German phrase "Nur einen Moment…" ("Just a moment…"), a generic loading-screen message rather than branded content, while we classified the site as impersonation.
Evidence
Wallet-security sources independently support the classification: the domain appears on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists as well as PhishDestroy's own, and Spamhaus DBL lists it as a phishing domain. VirusTotal coverage was thin on 2026-10-07, when only 5 of 92 engines flagged it: alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft and LevelBlue. A clean result from most scanners therefore says little about this site. The domain is also referenced in 3 AlienVault OTX threat pulses.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered on 2026-09-25 through NICENIC INTERNATIONAL GROUP CO., LIMITED. It was in use as a phishing page within 12 days, a short gap typical of throwaway scam domains. Traffic was served through Cloudflare's network with a Canadian address, which reflects Cloudflare's edge location rather than the operator's real server.
What to do
If you connected a wallet to this site, open a token-approval revocation tool now and cancel any permissions you granted around that time. If you signed anything you did not understand, move your remaining funds to a new wallet.
