How the scam works
The page presents itself as "Arbitrage with CrossEx — live fixed-rate arbitrage on Boros × Gate CrossEx". It pairs a real protocol name with an exchange-style partnership to make a guaranteed-spread offer look official. Pages built this way ask the visitor to connect a wallet and then sign what looks like a routine deposit or position-opening step. That signature actually grants token approvals or authorizes transfers to the operator. Victims typically lose whatever tokens the signed permission covers, often without a visible transfer at the moment of signing.
Evidence
Wallet-security blocklists flagged the domain independently: MetaMask, ScamSniffer and SEAL all list it alongside PhishDestroy, which means wallets using those feeds warn users before the page loads. On VirusTotal, 9 of 92 engines flagged it as of 2026-10-11, including Kaspersky, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Gridinsoft, LevelBlue and SOCRadar. That share of engines is modest, so a clean result from a single scanner should not be taken as reassurance. The domain also appears in 4 AlienVault OTX threat pulses.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered on 2026-10-06 through Spaceship, Inc. and was caught the very next day. That short gap fits a throwaway domain created for a single campaign.
