blockchange.live is an impersonation phishing site. Its exchange-style name is meant to pass as a legitimate crypto service, and it targets people who want to trade, swap or manage crypto. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-27. The domain stopped resolving the next day, 2026-09-28, and was still dead when checked on 2026-10-19.
How the scam works
Impersonation pages copy the look and wording of a trusted service so visitors believe they are on the real site. They then capture whatever the victim types: account passwords, one-time codes, or a wallet recovery phrase. Some versions also push the victim to send a deposit. Any of these can hand an attacker full control of the account or wallet, and crypto theft is usually irreversible. The page title here was simply "Loading", a generic placeholder that does not name any brand, while our classification is impersonation phishing.
Evidence
Nine of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-10-01. The flagging vendors include alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, Emsisoft, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data, Netcraft and SOCRadar. That is a modest detection rate, but these vendors run independent detection pipelines and reached the same verdict. The domain also appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other researchers tracked it too. Among blocklists, it is currently listed by PhishDestroy.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered on 2026-01-13 through PDR Ltd. (PublicDomainRegistry.com), more than eight months before it surfaced as a phishing page. A long gap like this can mean the name was held in reserve before use. The site was hosted on the M/S ROBI TRADERS network in Turkey. It used a free Let's Encrypt certificate, so the browser padlock only showed the connection was encrypted, not that the site was genuine.
What to do
If you entered a password or 2FA code on blockchange.live, change that password on the real service right away. Reset 2FA and review recent logins and withdrawal settings. If you typed in a wallet recovery phrase, treat that wallet as compromised and move any remaining funds to a new wallet with a fresh phrase. If you sent a deposit, stop further payments and report the transfer to your exchange or payment provider. Security teams should block the domain and its hosting IP, and search mail and proxy logs for visits around 2026-09-27 to find exposed users.
