Overview

bigzfabricstore.shop is an impersonation phishing page dressed up as Big Z Fabric, presenting itself as an online wholesale fabric retailer. It targets sewists, crafters and small businesses who shop for fabric by the yard. PhishDestroy first detected it on 2026-10-16. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its content.

How the scam works

The page carries the title "Online Fabric Store: Wholesale Fabric by the Yard | Big Z Fabric" and borrows the Big Z Fabric name to look like a legitimate storefront. Fake shops of this kind usually advertise attractive wholesale prices, then collect payment card numbers, billing addresses and contact details at checkout. Victims typically never receive the goods or get something worthless, and the stolen card data can be reused for fraud. Collected personal details can also feed follow-up phishing.

Evidence

urlscan.io rated the site malicious and specifically flagged it as a fake shop. VirusTotal detection is still low: 3 of 92 engines flagged the domain on 2026-10-16, namely alphaMountain.ai, Gridinsoft and LevelBlue.
