Overview

bhswardrobe.shop is a fraudulent storefront that calls itself BigHatStore and advertises "top-rated big hats for large heads in every size." It targets a narrow, motivated audience: people who struggle to find hats that fit and are more likely to buy from an unfamiliar store that promises their size. PhishDestroy first flagged the domain on 2026-10-16. As of 2026-10-19 the site is still online and serving its shop pages. The domain name points to a wardrobe store, while the page itself presents a hat shop under a different brand name.

How the scam works

Fake shops like this copy the look of a specialist retailer, including product grids, size ranges and "top-rated" claims. The aim is to collect card payments and personal details at checkout. Victims usually receive nothing, a cheap item that bears no resemblance to the listing, or tracking numbers that lead nowhere. Refund requests and emails go unanswered. Shoppers lose the purchase price and also hand over their name, address, phone number and card data, which can be reused for further fraud.
