PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

bherbs.shop is a fake online shop that presents itself as Better Herbs, with the tagline "Trusted Clean Nutrition for Kids & New Moms." It targets parents and expecting or new mothers looking for supplements and herbal products for their families. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-16. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its storefront.

How the scam works

Fake shops like this one copy the look of a wellness brand and lean on trust words such as "clean" and "trusted" to reach anxious parents shopping for their children. Visitors browse a polished catalogue, add items to the cart and pay at checkout. In schemes of this type the order is never delivered, or the buyer receives something cheap and unrelated. The victim loses the purchase price and also hands over their name, address, phone number and payment card details, which can be reused for further fraud.

Evidence

On 2026-10-19, seven of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft, Netcraft and SOCRadar. That count is modest, but it comes from several independent vendors, including Netcraft, which tracks fraudulent storefronts. urlscan.io rated the site malicious and specifically tagged it as a fake shop. The domain also appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other researchers have linked it to known malicious activity.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc. on 2026-05-16, exactly five months before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap suggests a storefront that was set up quietly and given time to run. It is hosted in the US on the Malakmadze Web LLC network. Its free Let's Encrypt certificate gives the site a padlock, which shows only that the connection is encrypted and says nothing about whether the shop is honest.

If you paid on bherbs.shop, contact your bank or card issuer now and ask for a chargeback for non-delivery or fraud. Watch your statements for unfamiliar charges, and replace the card if you entered its details. Be wary of follow-up emails, texts or calls about "delivery problems" or "refunds," because these often come from the same operators. Security teams and email filters should block the domain, and payment providers and marketplaces should treat transactions linked to it as high risk.
