betteraltlabs.shop presents itself as BetterAlt, a store for "Modern Ayurvedic Wellness Supplements" promising energy and vitality. PhishDestroy classifies it as an e-commerce scam, a fake online shop aimed at health-conscious buyers drawn to natural remedies. We first flagged it on 2026-10-13. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its storefront.
How the scam works
Fake supplement shops rely on a polished wellness pitch, often with discounts, bundles and glowing testimonials, to get visitors to the checkout. The buyer pays by card or another method and then receives nothing, a cheap item unrelated to the order, or a product of unknown origin and safety. Victims lose the purchase price and hand over their name, address, phone number and payment details. Those details can be reused for further charges or follow-up scams.
Evidence
Six of 92 engines on VirusTotal flagged the domain as of 2026-10-17: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft, Netcraft and SOCRadar. That count is modest, but it comes from several unrelated vendors. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict and specifically identified the page as a fake shop, which matches our classification. The domain also appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other researchers are tracking it too.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc. on 2026-06-09, about four months before we detected it. That gap fits shops that are built out and promoted for a while before scrutiny catches up. It resolves to 23.252.79.125, an address geolocated in the US on a network operated by Malakmadze Web LLC, which is registered in Georgia. The free Let's Encrypt certificate gives the site a padlock in the browser but says nothing about whether the seller is genuine.
