PhishDestroy threat report
benas.shop is an impersonation phishing page. It borrows the identity of a legitimate service to win the trust of anyone who lands on it. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-13. As of 2026-10-19 the domain was still alive and redirecting visitors onward rather than serving content directly.
Impersonation sites copy the look, wording and flow of a brand people already trust. Visitors then enter details they would only give the real service, such as passwords, one-time codes, card numbers or account recovery information. The page title is just the bare domain name, which tells a visitor nothing about who is really behind it. Because the domain currently redirects, the page that steals data may sit at the end of that hop. Anything typed there goes straight to the operators, who can use it to take over accounts or commit fraud.
On 2026-10-17, five of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as malicious: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft and SOCRadar. That is a low count, but five separate vendors reaching the same verdict backs our classification. The domain also appears in two AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other researchers have linked it to malicious activity. Among the major blocklists, only PhishDestroy lists it, which leaves many browsers and filters without a warning for now.
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc. on 2026-07-26, about eleven weeks before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap suggests it was set up in advance and brought into use later, a common way to avoid the extra scrutiny brand-new domains attract. It is hosted on the Malakmadze Web LLC network in Georgia. Its Let's Encrypt certificate gives the site a browser padlock, which only means the connection is encrypted and says nothing about whether the site is legitimate.
If you entered a password on benas.shop or on a page it sent you to, change it immediately. Change it on every other site where you reused it, then turn on app-based two-factor authentication. If you gave card or bank details, contact your bank to block the card and dispute any charges you do not recognize. Watch for follow-up emails or messages that refer to your visit, because operators often reuse stolen contact details for further phishing. Defenders should block benas.shop and its redirect chain at DNS and web proxies, and search logs for any users who reached it.
