behrstyle.shop is a fake online store that poses as The Bear House, a men's apparel brand. Its page title reads "Buy Top Men's Apparel Online at The Bear House | bearhouseindia", so it is aimed at shoppers looking for that brand's clothing. PhishDestroy first detected it on 2026-10-13. When we last checked on 2026-10-19, the site was still online and its shop content was live.
How the scam works
The site borrows The Bear House name and storefront style. Its domain, behrstyle, is a loose misspelling of the brand that a shopper can easily misread. Visitors browse what looks like a normal men's clothing catalogue and pay at checkout. Shops like this typically take the payment and then deliver nothing, or ship cheap items that do not match the listing. Victims lose the money they paid, and they also expose the card details, name, address and phone number they typed into the order form.
Evidence
On 2026-10-17, 13 of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain. The vendors flagging it include alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CRDF, CyRadar, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet and G-Data. urlscan.io rated the site malicious and specifically marked it as a fake shop, which matches our classification. The domain also appears in 4 AlienVault OTX threat pulses and is listed on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc. on 2026-05-13, about five months before we caught it. That gap gave the shop time to look established or to collect orders before anyone flagged it. It is hosted on the Malakmadze Web LLC network in Georgia, a location with no obvious link to the brand it copies. Its certificate comes from Let's Encrypt, so the browser padlock only means the connection is encrypted and says nothing about whether the store is real.
What to do
Do not place orders on behrstyle.shop. If you already paid, contact your card issuer or bank right away to dispute the charge, report it as fraud and ask for a replacement card. Keep your order confirmation and any emails as proof. Watch for phishing messages that use the name, address or phone number you gave the shop, and buy The Bear House products only through channels the brand itself lists. Security teams and payment providers should block the domain, flag transactions linked to it, and report it to the registrar and hosting provider for takedown.
