bbxbrandstudio.shop is an e-commerce scam that presents itself as "BBXBRAND Official Store", borrowing the BBXBRAND name to look like the brand's own storefront. It targets fans of the brand and bargain-seekers who land on it through ads, social posts or search results. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-11. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its shop pages, so it can still take orders and payments.
How the scam works
Shops like this copy a brand's look and product range, then undercut real prices to push quick checkouts. The "Official Store" label in the page title is meant to stop buyers from questioning why the brand would sell from a .shop domain. Victims pay by card or another method and receive nothing, a cheap counterfeit, or an item unrelated to the order. They also hand over their name, address, phone number and full card details, which can be reused for further fraud.
Evidence
urlscan.io rated the site malicious and specifically marked it as a fake shop, which matches our classification. On 2026-10-12, 7 of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged it: alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CRDF, G-Data, Gridinsoft, Kaspersky and Netcraft. That is a minority of engines, but it includes several major security vendors whose detections feed browser and endpoint protection. The domain also appears in 4 AlienVault OTX threat pulses and on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc. on 2026-07-15, about three months before we detected it. Fake shops are often registered in advance and launched later, so a domain of this age is typical for them. It is hosted on the Malakmadze Web LLC network in Georgia. The site uses a free Let's Encrypt certificate, so the browser padlock only means the connection is encrypted and says nothing about whether the store is real.
