How the scam works
Fake shops like this copy a real brand's product imagery and tagline, then list bikes at prices low enough to seem like a rare deal. The buyer pays at checkout, often by card or bank transfer, and receives nothing, a cheap substitute, or a stream of excuses about shipping delays. Anyone who orders loses the purchase price. The card number, home address, phone and email entered at checkout are also exposed, and these can be reused for further fraud or targeted phishing.
