bamnook.shop presents itself as "Bedding Store - Pillows, Sheets & More | Cool Bamboo," a storefront selling bamboo bedding. PhishDestroy classifies it as an e-commerce scam: a fake online shop built to take payments from home-goods shoppers without delivering what they ordered. We first flagged it on 2026-10-10. When last checked on 2026-10-19, the site was still online and serving its shop content.
How the scam works
Fake bedding shops copy the look of a real brand. They pair polished product photos with prices low enough to make buyers skip their usual caution. The buyer adds sheets or pillows to the cart and enters card details and a shipping address at checkout. Then nothing arrives, or a cheap item unrelated to the order shows up much later. The victim loses the purchase price and exposes card data that can be reused or sold. Their name, address and email can also be used for follow-up scams.
Evidence
urlscan.io rated the site malicious and specifically flagged it as a fake shop, which matches our classification. On VirusTotal, 6 of 92 engines flagged the domain as of 2026-10-12: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Gridinsoft, LevelBlue, Netcraft and SOCRadar. That count is modest, so most security tools may not warn users yet. The domain also appears in 4 AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which links it to activity other researchers are tracking. Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc. on 2026-07-19, about 83 days before we detected it.
