bagnethq.shop is an E-Commerce Scam that poses as a storefront for Bagnet, a purse accessory, under the page title "Bagnet: The Ultimate Purse Life Saver – Bagnet™". It targets online shoppers who come across the product through ads or search results and believe they are buying from the brand. PhishDestroy first flagged the domain on 2026-10-10. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its shop content.
How the scam works
Fake shops like this copy a real product's branding, photos and name onto a cheap domain, often with the brand's name plus a suffix like "hq" to look official. They usually add heavy discounts or countdown offers to rush the purchase. The shopper pays at checkout and then receives nothing, a cheap knockoff, or an item that does not match the order. Victims lose the purchase price. Every name, address and card number typed into the checkout also goes to the operators and can be reused for further fraud.
Evidence
Eight of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-10-10: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data, Gridinsoft, LevelBlue and Webroot. That is a minority of engines, but the flagging vendors are independent of each other. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict and specifically identified the page as a fake shop, which matches our classification. The domain also appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses and on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered on 2026-04-21 through Dynadot Inc., about five and a half months before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap leaves room for a store to run quietly before being reported. It resolves to 31.222.234.235 on the Malakmadze Web LLC network, which is registered in Georgia, while the IP geolocates to the US. The site uses a free Let's Encrypt certificate, so the browser padlock only shows the connection is encrypted and says nothing about whether the seller is genuine.
What to do
