PhishDestroy threat report
autosupplyhub.shop is a fake online shop that presents itself as an Australian car parts store. Its page title is "Australia | Shop Car Parts, Spares". It targets Australian drivers and DIY mechanics searching for discounted spares. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-08, and as of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving a redirect.
Shops like this copy the look of a legitimate parts retailer and list components at prices well below market. Checkout collects the buyer's name, address, phone number and payment card details. Victims typically receive nothing, or receive cheap items that bear no relation to the order. Buyers lose the purchase price, and their card details and personal information can be reused for fraud or follow-up scams.
On 2026-10-12, 9 of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain. The flagging vendors include alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, Gridinsoft, LevelBlue and Netcraft. That count is modest, but these are independent vendors reaching the same conclusion. urlscan.io rated the site malicious and specifically identified it as a fake shop. The domain also appears in 4 AlienVault OTX threat pulses and on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc. on 2026-07-26, about ten weeks before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap fits a storefront that was built out before it started taking orders. The site is hosted on Malakmadze Web LLC's network in Georgia, which is an unusual home for a shop aimed at Australian customers. Its Let's Encrypt certificate gives visitors a padlock icon, but the padlock only means the connection is encrypted, not that the shop is legitimate.
If you ordered from this site, contact your bank or card issuer immediately. Ask them to block the card and dispute the charge as a non-delivery fraud. Card disputes work best when filed quickly. Do not pay any extra "customs", "shipping" or "release" fees if the seller contacts you, and keep your order emails and receipts as evidence. Expect phishing messages aimed at the address and phone number you gave, and report the loss to your local consumer-fraud authority. Defenders should block the domain and its hosting IP at the DNS and proxy level. They should also warn automotive and e-commerce communities about lookalike parts stores, and check for related domains registered around the same date.
