It targets readers and gift buyers looking for themed book crates. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-08. On 2026-10-19 the site was still online and its storefront was still loading.
How the scam works
Shops like this copy the look of a niche subscription business, list boxes at attractive prices and push shoppers to checkout. Payment card details and personal information go straight to the operators. The crate either never arrives or is replaced by something worthless. Victims lose the purchase amount, and their card and address details can be reused or sold. The long keyword-stuffed domain, which strings together the brand name, "book box" and "online", is built to catch search traffic from people looking for the real product.
Evidence
VirusTotal shows 9 of 92 engines flagging the domain as of 2026-10-08. The named vendors include alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CyRadar, ESET, G-Data, Gridinsoft, LevelBlue and Netcraft. That is a modest but meaningful spread for a young shop scam. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict and specifically identified the page as a fake shop, which independently matches our classification. The domain also appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses and is listed on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered on 2026-03-26 through Spaceship, Inc., about six and a half months before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap suggests it was set up in advance rather than spun up for a single burst. It is hosted on the Malakmadze Web LLC network in Georgia. Its certificate comes from Let's Encrypt, so the padlock in the browser only means the connection is encrypted, not that the shop is genuine.
What to do
Do not order from this site. If you already paid, contact your card issuer or bank right away to dispute the charge and ask for a replacement card. Keep your order confirmation and any emails as evidence. Expect follow-up phishing aimed at the email address and phone number you entered. If you created an account there, change that password anywhere you reused it.
