aurluxaura.shop presents itself as a storefront called Aurlux, with the page title simply "Aurlux | Aurlux". PhishDestroy classifies it as an e-commerce scam: a fake online shop aimed at ordinary consumers drawn in by ads or search results promising discounted goods. We first detected it on 2026-10-08. When last checked on 2026-10-19, the site was still online and serving its shop pages.
How the scam works
Fake shops like Aurlux copy the look of a legitimate retail site, with product grids, steep "sale" prices and a checkout page. Victims pay by card or another payment method and then receive nothing, a cheap item unrelated to the order, or tracking details that lead nowhere. Beyond the money spent, shoppers hand over their name, address, phone number and card details, which can be reused for further fraud. The repeated, generic "Aurlux" branding points to a quickly assembled store rather than an established retailer.
Evidence
urlscan.io rates the site as malicious and specifically flags it as a fake shop, which matches our classification. On VirusTotal, 9 of 92 engines flagged the domain as of 2026-10-11, including BitDefender, CRDF, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, Gridinsoft, LevelBlue and Netcraft. That is a minority of engines, but the flags come from several unrelated vendors. The domain also appears in 4 AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other researchers have independently tracked it.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc. on 2026-06-09, about four months before we detected it. A gap like that is consistent with a store being set up and promoted before it attracted reports. The site is hosted on the Malakmadze Web LLC network in the United States. Its certificate comes from Let's Encrypt, so the browser padlock only means the connection is encrypted and says nothing about whether the shop is genuine.
What to do
If you ordered from Aurlux, contact your bank or card issuer right away, report the charge as fraud and request a chargeback. Ask for the card to be replaced if you entered its details at checkout. Watch for phishing emails, texts or calls that reference your order, since the shop holds your contact details, and do not pay any extra "customs" or "shipping" fees it requests. Keep screenshots and order confirmations and report the site to your national consumer-protection or fraud agency. Security teams should block aurluxaura.shop at the DNS and proxy level and add it to their e-commerce fraud watchlists.
