How the scam works
The page is titled "Aspire Auto Accessories" and is built to look like a normal online retailer. Fake shops of this kind typically use tempting prices to push quick orders, then collect card numbers, billing addresses and phone numbers at checkout. Buyers usually receive nothing, or a cheap item unrelated to their order. The payment details entered can also be reused for further fraudulent charges. The word "direct" and the .shop ending help a throwaway domain pass as an established retailer.
Evidence
On 2026-10-06, 8 of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain: alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CRDF, CyRadar, ESET, G-Data, Gridinsoft and LevelBlue. That count is modest, but it includes mainstream consumer antivirus products, so many of their users will already see a warning. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict and specifically identified the page as a fake shop. The domain also appears in three AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which shows other researchers are tracking it independently.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc. on 2026-06-20, roughly three and a half months before PhishDestroy detected it. A gap like that fits a shop that is set up and stocked with listings before being promoted through ads or social media. The site is hosted on the Malakmadze Web LLC network in Georgia. Its Let's Encrypt certificate makes the browser show a padlock, but that only means the connection is encrypted and says nothing about whether the seller is honest.
What to do
