aromanticstore.shop is a fake online store that presents itself as Aromantic, using the page title "Natural Skincare Experts Since 1997 | Aromantic" to borrow the reputation of an established natural skincare brand. It targets people shopping for cosmetics, skincare ingredients and aromatherapy products who search for the brand or click on ads and social media links. PhishDestroy first flagged the site on 2026-10-03. As of 2026-10-19 it was still online and serving its shop content.
How the scam works
Fake shops like this copy the look, product range and language of a real brand, then usually undercut it with attractive prices to push quick checkouts. The "since 1997" heritage in the title is meant to reassure buyers that they are dealing with a long-standing company. The site actually sits on a cheap, recently registered .shop domain. Victims typically pay by card and receive nothing, a cheap substitute, or a fake tracking number. Their payment details and personal information, including name, address, email and phone, end up with the operators and can be reused for further fraud.
Evidence
Seven of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain when it was checked on 2026-10-03: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Fortinet, G-Data, Gridinsoft, LevelBlue and Netcraft. That is a modest count, but the mix of fraud-focused and commercial vendors points the same way. urlscan.io rated the site malicious and specifically identified it as a fake shop. The domain also appears in two AlienVault OTX threat pulses and is listed on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc. on 2026-06-05, about four months before PhishDestroy detected it. A brand-new storefront claiming decades of history is a mismatch in itself. The site is hosted on the Malakmadze Web LLC network in Georgia. It uses a free Let's Encrypt certificate, so the padlock in the browser says nothing about whether the shop is genuine.
What to do
If you ordered from this site, contact your bank or card issuer immediately to dispute the charge and ask about a replacement card. Watch your statements for unfamiliar transactions. Expect follow-up phishing to the email and phone number you gave, and never pay extra "customs" or "shipping" fees the sellers may request. If you reused a password from an account created there, change it everywhere you used it. Security teams should block the domain and its hosting IP, and report it to the registrar and to brand-protection contacts at Aromantic.
