How the scam works
Fake shops like this copy the look of a legitimate retailer, list products at prices noticeably below the market, and push visitors through a normal-looking checkout. The buyer pays, but nothing ships, or something worthless arrives. The order confirmation and any tracking details exist only to delay complaints until the window for a chargeback has passed. Victims lose the purchase amount. Because they typed card details, a billing address and contact information into the checkout, they are also exposed to further card fraud and follow-up scam messages.
