arcasphere.shop is a fake online shop that presents itself as Arcade1Up, using the page title "Officially Licensed Arcade Cabinets | Arcade1Up" to look like the maker of home arcade machines. It targets retro gaming fans and gift buyers shopping for a cabinet at what appears to be a good price. PhishDestroy first detected it on 2026-10-07, and as of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its storefront.
How the scam works
The shop borrows Arcade1Up's name and product line to make a counterfeit catalogue look authentic, usually with steep discounts that push visitors to buy quickly. Arcade cabinets are bulky, expensive items, so a shopper may wait weeks for a delivery before realising nothing is coming. The victim loses the purchase price, and anything typed at checkout, including name, address, phone number and card details, ends up with the operators, who can reuse it or sell it.
Evidence
urlscan.io rated the site malicious and specifically flagged it as a fake shop, which matches our classification. On VirusTotal, 6 of 92 engines flagged it as of 2026-10-15: alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft, LevelBlue, Netcraft and SOCRadar.
