apresnailselect.shop is a fraudulent storefront that presents itself as "Home | Aprés Nail," borrowing the name of a well-known nail-product brand to attract buyers. As of 2026-10-19 the server still answered, but the domain's DNS was inactive and no shop content was being served. The operators could repoint the name at any time.
How the scam works
Fake shops like this one copy a brand's look, then list popular items at prices well below normal retail to push quick checkouts. The victim pays by card or another method and gets nothing, gets a cheap counterfeit, or gets an unrelated item shipped only to produce a tracking number. Refund requests usually go unanswered. The checkout form also captures names, addresses, phone numbers and payment card details, so the loss can go beyond the purchase price.
Evidence
Nine of 92 VirusTotal engines classified the domain as dangerous on 2026-10-07. The vendors include BitDefender, Netcraft, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, Gridinsoft, CRDF, LevelBlue and alphaMountain.ai, which means several unrelated security companies reached the same conclusion on their own. urlscan.io rated the page malicious and specifically tagged it as a fake shop. The domain also appears in three AlienVault OTX threat pulses and on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc. on 2026-07-21, about eleven weeks before it was detected. That gap fits a storefront built, stocked and promoted before drawing complaints. The server runs on a network operated by Malakmadze Web LLC, a Georgian-registered provider, with the IP located in the United States. The Let's Encrypt certificate only means the connection is encrypted. The padlock does not show the seller is legitimate.
What to do
If you ordered from this site, contact your card issuer or bank right away, report the charge as fraud and ask for a chargeback. Request a replacement card if you entered card details. Keep any order confirmation emails and screenshots as evidence. Be wary of follow-up messages about "delivery problems" or refunds, since your contact details may now be in scammers' hands. Buy Aprés Nail products only from the brand's official channels or authorised retailers. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and proxy level, and watch for lookalike .shop domains that pair the brand name with words like "select."
